Jacob moves to Egypt – When Jacob (Israel) heard that Joseph was alive, it immediately revived his spirit. God then visited Israel in a vision and said to him “fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will make of you there a great nation: I will go down with you into Egypt; and I will also surely bring you up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon your eyes.” When Jacob arrives in Egypt, it’s a celebration of sorts for Joseph. They unite with great joy and Jacob is brought in to see Pharaoh. Jacob blesses Pharaoh and begins to establish his people in Goshen, outside of Egypt. This again is proof that it was God’s will to send Israel to Egypt that they may learn how…
Abram called by God – The time of the Patriarchs is when God begins to establish His covenant with man through a nation of people. His covenant begins with Abram, to whom God told to leave his father’s house and land so that he could gain a new land and become a great nation in God. This is the beginning of God choosing a people to live with and walk with. God made a promise to Abram that he would become a great nation and that his seed (children) would be as the stars of heaven. Those stars would begin to multiply with God’s promise to Abram about his son. The promise says that he would have one son, and that son would be born of a spiritual promise and…
Great wickedness in the earth – As man lived and multiplied in the earth, the sons of God took the daughters of men as wives. Because of this, man’s heart was filled with wicked imaginations. As wickedness began to spread among the people, they would no longer hear God when He spoke. So God told Noah that He was going to flood the earth and destroy all flesh. Even though this event was going to happen on the earth, God did have a plan to save the righteous and preserve His seed in their future generations. Noah, the preacher of righteousness – In the midst of all this wickedness, a man named Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was a just man and perfect in his…
The first man Adam – After the earth is created, God forms man from the dust of the ground, and he becomes a living soul. The name of that man is Adam. God then planted a garden and called it Eden. He took the man and put him into the garden of Eden and commanded him to take care of it. In the midst of the garden of Eden there were many trees, but there were two trees in particular that God addressed with Adam. First is the tree of life, and the second tree was the knowledge of good and evil. God told the man that he could eat of every tree of the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He was commanded not…

The Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ. From start to finish, this book is written to reveal Jesus Christ in you. The true experience of the Bible will happen in you when your perception of this book turns from the natural to the spiritual, and the earthly to the heavenly. It’s meant to be the words of God that everyone experiences by the Spirit, within themselves. A book that reconnects us back to God and reveals to us how to be transformed into His likeness. For this to happen, we must see this book as a…
